Meeting between Vice Rector and SPIUS
On June 12, 2012 a meeting was held between Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoglu, Assist. Prof. Hasan Korkut, Senior Assist. M. Akif Yaman and the representative of Student Parliament of IUS (SPIUS) with the participation of the representatives of Student Clubs of IUS in order to overview the following agenda;
- Annual plan of the Student Clubs of IUS, in order to estimate the prospective budget for planned or future activities (no guarantee for undetermined and non-confirmed projects), - Exchange of ideas on Student Union Center to be established next semester, - The roles and tasks of SPIUS in the process of Student Activities to be actualized.
Besides all, the new structure of IUS process was discussed in the context of Student Activities/Events at IUS and out of IUS in accordance to the rules and regulations as well as previously discussed issues, difficulties and obstacles to prevent such further issues. Furthermore, it has been determined that the roles and authorizations of the each department of IUS should be identified and clarified within the concept of any kinds of activities and events at IUS.
