IUS Student Maida Jusović received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship

Maida Jusović, student of the fourth year of the FENS Genetics and Bioengineering program at IUS received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship for master's degree in late May 2015. In coordination of the International Relations Office of IUS, student Jusović applied for the GreenTechWB project of Erasmus Mundus and was selected among students from all over Europe as one of the best candidates in the contest. She received a scholarship for a period of 18 months at the prestigious University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia (Bulgaria), Department of Biotechnology. 

"I applied for master's degree program because I wish to continue improving in the area I graduated from. I am very happy because I will have the opportunity to establish new friendships and after graduation I will be able to independently perform research in this field, "said student Jusović.  The GreenTechWB project is one of Erasmus Mundus projects that promote cooperation between higher education institutions in research and innovation in the field of green/environmental technologies. GreenTechWB aims to link higher education institutions from the EU and institutions of the Western Balkans.
